 WHO AM I?
I'm an established international author and professional photographer, and tutor at the Auckland Zoo Photography Workshops.
SERVICES
I offer a number of different intensive one-day photography workshops, based at my office and studio at Woodhill, just 30 minutes from Auckland's CBD. There are also a wide variety of outdoor locations on the bush-clad property. My workshops can be run with a small group of 3-4 participants, or tailored to suit one or two individuals. I will tailor workshops for school students as well as adults.
1. DIGITAL CAMERA WORKSHOPS
- Workshop 1: Understanding your digital camera; controlling shutter speed, aperture and exposure; and using flash
- Workshop 2: Understanding light and shadow, picture composition
- Workshop 3: Picture editing. Introducing Photoshop, seven steps from camera to print
- Workshop 4: Picture editing. More advanced Photoshop techniques including making selections, creating masks and layers, and colour manipulation
2. PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOPS
- These teach the basics of portrait photography lighting and composition. I provide a model and make-up artist. There are no more than three participants, who photograph the model in the studio and in outdoor locations.
3. PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
- Portrait sittings for individuals or small family groups.
