The Helensville Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre's facilities include ample off street parking,
disability access, individual treatment rooms and a
fully-equipped rehabilitation gym. We
hold contracts with ACC for exercise rehabilitation
programmes and pain management programmes. We are committed to providing a high quality service
through ongoing education and regular auditing of
our standards.

CLINIC HOURS:
Monday and Thursday, 7am—6pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, 7am—4pm
Appointments may be available outside of these hours.
FEES:
ACC Consultation Charges
Initial Consultation (40 mins) $16
Subsequent Consultation (20 mins) $14
Private Consultation Charges
Initial Consultation (40 mins) $60
Subsequent Consultation (20 mins) $45
- Materials used during treatment may be
charged for.
- Payment is due at completion of each visit.
- Due to each patient being seen independently
notice of cancellation is essential and must be
made in advance of appointment time.
- Failing to attend an appointment without prior
notice could incur a $25 charge.
TREATMENT:
Your first appointment will include a detailed 40
minute interview and assessment to determine
the most appropriate treatment required.
- Each subsequent treatment is 20 minutes.
- All treatments are given individually on a one to
one basis.
- If you have any suggestions/complaints either
place a comment in the suggestion box or
speak with us directly.
- You have the right to a second opinion. Should
you want a second opinion please let us know
and we can help you arrange one.
- You are welcome to bring a chaperone (such as
a family member) to support you during your
treatment.
- Please advise us if you have any
cultural values or
requirements that
we need to be
aware of.
PHYSIOTHERAPISTS:
Kathryn Long
DipPhys (Otago), A.D.P (Man Th), Reg. Acup
Kath has post-graduate qualifications in manual therapy and is a registered Acupuncturist. She has
special interest in the treatment and rehabilitation
of spinal problems and equestrian injuries. Kath
is actively involved in equestrian events with her
horses Dusty and Bella.
Susan Narbey
BHSc(Physio), MHPrac(Musculo.), PGCert HSc (W.Acup)
Sue has completed her Masters of Health
Practice specialising in Manipulation and Western
Acupuncture. She has a special interest in sport
injuries and post-natal rehabilitation. She has also
completed Pilates training which she utilises with
her patients.
Mary Dunning
DipPhys (Auck), Dip MT, RegAcup
Mary is a manipulative physiotherapist and a
registered Acupuncturist with a hands-on approach
to treatment and extensive experience. Mary
has been the physiotherapist for the Black Sticks
Hockey team for the past 7 years and is passionate
about all sports. She is a registered provider with
the New Zealand Academy of Sport.
