services for the wider Helensville area six days a week at our premises
at 53-65 Commercial Road, Helensville.

- There are evening surgeries on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays until 7.30pm.
- Saturday morning surgery is from 8:30 to 11:30am (urgent
cases only please).
- On reception you will meet Janet, Julie, Debbie, Tasman, Vivienne and
Wendy; the Practice Manager is John.
- Our nurses are Christine, Sarah R, Sarah J, Michele, Selina, Barbara, Marina
and Cherry.

- ACC surcharge approx $12, follow-up ACC approx $6. Non-Registered / funded (casual) patients: ACC Surcharge: $25.
- Extra charges apply on weekends, for minor surgery, home visits and after-hours consultations.
- Fees are to be paid at the time of consultation please.
- Unpaid accounts will attract a $5 administration fee at the end of the month.

Appointments
You will need to make an appointment to
see a doctor for non-urgent treatment. Please phone (09) 420 8400 for
a time convenient to you.
There is no other accident and emergency
clinic in the Helensville area which means doctors have to give
priority to the injured. We apologise for any delay this may cause.
Please Note: If you phone
the surgery after hours, ie after 5pm or at the weekend, the surgery may be closed but your call will be diverted to a triage nurse, who will then contact the duty doctor if required. This doctor may be at Helensville, Waimauku, Huapai or Kumeu.

Phlebotomy (blood taking): Labtests
Labtests have a dedicated blood taking service available within the Helensville District Health Trust site. They are open 8am to midday and 12.30pm to 4pm Monday to Friday. Ph 0508 522 837.

Immunisations
The doctors like to examine young children
before they are immunised (unless recently seen by the Plunket nurse).
This necessitates an appointment.
The Health
Department requests that an immunised person wait for 20 minutes
after immunisation to ensure there is no adverse reaction. This
is merely a precaution as severe reactions are uncommon.

Repeat
Prescriptions for Stable Conditions
If you need a repeat prescription please give at least 24 hours notice. Prescriptions may be collected the following day from 2pm onwards. Repeat prescriptions attract a $10 charge for adults and $5 for children - faxing extra. Urgent prescriptions are $15 or you may have to see the doctor.
Prescriptions issued as part of a consultation, are not charged separately. Children especially should be seen by a doctor, whenever possible.
